Apply For A Tiny Home Loan
Our preferred lender for your tiny home park model is Triad Financial Services, Inc. Triad is one of the oldest and the most trusted lenders in the manufactured home industry, with over 50 years of lending experience. Triad is trusted by Borrowers, Dealers, Lending Institutions, and Realtors alike and has helped tens of thousands of families realize their American Dream of homeownership.
As one of the very top consumer lenders in the nation, their goal is to be the friendliest, hardest working, service-oriented company. Triad is headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, with full-service branch offices near Chicago, IL, and Irvine, CA. They currently provide financing in 43 states and can serve your needs through our extensive network of Regional Managers and field offices.
A non-refundable deposit of $5,000.00 is required at the contract and payment in full is required before shipment. Financing is commonly needed when buying a park-model RV. Cash, your bank, credit union, or lenders who specialize in this area are avenues to purchase a tiny home. We always suggest that you shop for the best rates and terms when pursuing a loan. Our experience has shown a few consistent patterns. Banks and credit unions offer the best rates but for the short term. A home equity credit line on your primary residence offers a low rate and payment (cheapest method). Lenders who specialize in Park Model RV financing offer 15- 25-year terms and sometimes even longer if the land is also packaged with the mortgage. The rates are roughly 1-2% higher than conventional mortgages. We recommend two lenders on our website where you may apply directly and securely. Typical down payments range from 10% for primary residences, 20% for second homes, and 30% for Investment properties. We are not compensated by the lender but are involved in the process as the tiny home dealer. We do offer owner financing on existing homes on-site and with excellent credit.
*Note* All New RV Park Model RVs come with a Certificate of origin from the manufacturer. Cash buyers receive the Certificate upon delivery. The certificate of origin and a check (up to $2,056.00) for the road tax, from the buyer, will need to be taken to OMV to get a title. If the unit is financed, the title is sent to the bank to be held until the lien is paid in full.
